In the past few decades the main focus of technical theatre was lighting. But since the progress in quality in home stereo systems and surround sound in movie theaters, the audience expects the same amount of quality and power to fill the whole theatre. Speaker cables come in all shapes and sizes. There are 5 different gage sizes of cable and a couple different types of connectors. The standard cable we have is 16 gauge. The 16 gauge is used in the following maximum configurations: 4-OHM 50w Speaker 20', 8-OHM 100w 50', 16-OHM 100w 100', 16-OHM 250w 250'
